Information

Visit Sawgrass Recreation Park for a truly unique Florida everglades experience.  On this exclusive Private Tour, you will join one of our experienced captains as they escort only your group across the everglades aboard one of our custom airboats. You can choose from a range of tour duration that best fits your budget and schedule.

This tour includes general admission and your choice of private airboat adventure from 30 minutes to 2 hours in length.

You will get to visit exclusive locations in the everglades and will be able to see a variety of exotic and native animals. Customize your entire adventure with a catered boxed lunch from The Gator Grill- our onsite food truck.

Enjoy the thrill as you glide across miles of the Everglades intricate river systems at speeds of up to 40 mph.  Your captain will provide you with fascinating insights into the history and ecology of Floridas most unique ecosystem.  Nature is all around you as you get up-close and personal with the many wildlife species, sadly some of which are endangered in this fragile environment.  

As part of the general admission, you are free to explore the many exhibits such as the Reptile Exhibit and learn even more about our prehistoric friend and an original dinosaur, the Florida Alligator. The reptile exhibit features dozens of species and the whole family will enjoy the friendly turtles and iguanas, you may even see Cannibal, the 1000 pound alligator!

More fun is available as you get to mine for sharks teeth and gemstones at the Sawgrass Mining Co.
